BOOKED MEET x25 NEW LOCATION – Broomhill Beef Farm, Sudbury – £10 PUN

Date(s) - 18/09/2020 - 20/09/2020

Staffs DA welcome you to a brand new pop-up campsite. Only 25 spaces – book either on our Facebook group here – – or by emailing

A fantastic beef farm, selling all sorts of fresh beef related products, home made cakes, we’re sure this is going to be a hit so book in fast!

No toilets, showers or EHU – but plenty of free tasty cold water and fresh air.

Ian, Lynn, Sarah, Alice and I visited the farm at the beginning of July, while searching for new sites. This will be our first visit but if all goes well, there’s lots of space we could use in the future including the use of a barn (once Covid comes to an end and we can socialise again!).

Lots of photos here –

It’s a short 1.5 mile drive off the A50/A515 junction at Sudbury

We are a small Caravan and Camping Club site on a working family farm, where we breed and raise Hereford and Simmental cattle. The Site was started by Noel and Jane Latham over 10 years ago, and is now run by their son Chris and his wife Rosie.
The site is peaceful, with lots of space, views across fields, lovely countryside walks and a very friendly Collie dog called Pip. We are a very relaxed site with an informal family feel, in short driving distance from a number of well known attractions. Pitches are on immaculate mown grass, which is well drained and usable all year round. Secure covered caravan storage is also available throughout the year.
We also produce our own beef a couple of times a year and details about that will be shared on this page. The beef is all sold by pre-order and delivered fresh from the butchers in 5Kg boxes containing a mixture of roasting joints, steaks, mince, stewing steak and in the summer, burgers too. We know that we are biased but you really can taste the difference! The farm is Red Tractor Farm Assured and cattle have natural life grazing outdoors for as much of the year as the weather allows. We are part of the Countryside Stewardship scheme for Environmentally friendly farming, and take our duty of care to the countryside we manage very seriously.
We hope that we can welcome you to Broomhill Farm soon!
